Resource Referrals

HDA works collaboratively with other organizations and government partners to offer  services to meet the diverse needs of survivors.

We support survivors of violent crime, with a focus on family survivors of homicide, through court accompaniment and resource referrals. HDA team members are available to accompany survivors to court hearings and serve as a liaison between survivors, district attorneys, and public defenders to promote the survivor’s safety, comfort, and well-being. We also host support groups where survivors can connect with others that share similar experiences.

Get to Know Us

Healing Dialogue and Action (HDA) offers separate and distinct programs to support both survivors of violence and individuals who have caused harm. While both initiatives are grounded in restorative justice values of healing, dignity, and accountability, they operate independently of one another.

The Survivor Support Program is designed exclusively for victims and survivors of violence and their families. It provides safe, confidential spaces for healing, community connection, and empowerment. This program is not conducted in conjunction with, or connected to, HDA’s reentry or restorative programs serving individuals who have committed harm.

Separately, HDA’s Restorative Reentry and Accountability Programs focus on personal transformation, responsibility, and reintegration for individuals returning from incarceration.

Though both programs share a philosophy of healing-centered engagement, they are distinct in practice, staffing, and participation, ensuring that survivors’ needs are centered and protected within their own dedicated spaces.
